Minnesota has no fertility treatment mandate. To make matters worse, the state legislature passed a law in 2009 that allowed insurers to exclude coverage for any medications used to help enhance fertility. So, in essence, Minnesota has a “salt in the wound” policy. Not only does the state not mandate coverage for fertility treatment, they are straight up antagonistic about fertility treatment.
