When we started Cofertility, we saw an industry needing better options. Traditional egg donation often felt transactional, overlooking the human elements involved. We believed there had to be a better way - one that honored the experiences of egg donors, supported the hopes of intended parents, and prioritized the future well-being of donor-conceived people. This belief led us to create a human-centered approach that has redefined what egg donation can be.As we share the ten reasons behind this recognition, we want to acknowledge that our success comes from listening to our community. Championing Accessible Egg Freezing and Women's Reproductive Choices

The last few decades have brought incredible advancements in reproductive technologies – egg freezing has taken off since the experimental label was removed in 2012 and more people than ever are building their families through egg donor IVF. But despite ground-breaking innovations, high costs associated with fertility services still prevent many people from moving forward with treatment. 

At Cofertility, we believe in the equal right to parent and proudly serve individuals and couples of all backgrounds, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship status.

At Cofertility, our mission is to make egg freezing and third-party reproduction more accessible, transparent, and human-centered. And while it’s too often overlooked, we firmly believe that this mission must extend to frozen egg and embryo storage. 

Dr. Samuel Pang is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology/Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.He specializes in all aspects of infertility and family-building care.

Dr. Saira Jhutty is a licensed clinical and industrial organizational psychologist in private practice specializing in fertility. She obtained her PhD from California School of Professional Practice. She has spent the last 11 years focusing on assisting people build their families using third-party reproduction. Her expertise lies in the evaluation of potential surrogates and egg donors and meeting with intended parents to discuss their decision to use alternative methods to build their family. 

Meera Shah, MD, FACOG, is a double board certified OBGYN and reproductive endocrinology and fertility specialist at NOVA IVF in Mountain View, California. She received her Bachelor's degree at UC-Berkeley and completed a post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institute of Health Academy program. She attended Stanford Medical School and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco. She rounded out her training with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford Un

Dr. Mare Mbaye is a top OBGYN based in New York City. She has worked in the private practice setting caring for pregnant and non-pregnant people with a variety of medical concerns. Dr. Mbaye also boasts several years of experience as a medical advisor, digital health startup consultant, and content creator. She is on a mission to bring empathetic, holistic, and affirming reproductive healthcare to all, with a particular focus on historically marginalized groups.
